The writer Juan Manuel de Prada and María Cárcaba from Oviedo, both presenters of the program “Lágrimas de rain” on Intereconomía TV, were married last Saturday in the San Ginés church in Madrid, according to “El Confidencial” yesterday. Cárcaba wore a dress designed by the Asturian Covadonga Plaza. After the ceremony, the guests enjoyed the party and banquet, which was held at the Casino on Alcalá Street. This is the first marriage for María Cárcaba but the second for the writer, who was previously married to María José Casaseca, a documentary maker for the newspaper “ABC” and for whom he obtained an ecclesiastical annulment. The couple announced that they were getting married a few days ago on their TDT program. María Cárcaba, 30 years old, is eleven years younger than her new husband.
