Ikea's famous LED lamp for the bathroom mirror finally drops in price

Ikea never ceases to surprise. He swedish giant of the decor and the furniture is famous for its practical, affordable designs that look good in practically every home due to their simplicity and minimalism. But it doesn't just sell furniture and household items.

The Swedish company has an outlet where there are eye-catching bargains, such as the Raksta LED mirror lamp. “A complete series of lamps for ceilings, walls and mirrors, all modern in style and approved for use in bathrooms. They give you the light you need to shave or put on makeup.” This product can be purchased for 12 euros, while before its price was 25.

The Ikea bargain that you can't miss

So much so that the firm has increased the number of workers by 10% and does not rule out expanding its workforce in Asturias if its relocated centers require it. The firm is delighted with the council and is already planning a new investment, this one of great significance, to provide its facilities with renewable energy, through solar panels: “Our commitment is firm in Siero, it is one of our flagship stores,” emphasizes the director of the establishment, Eduardo Díaz.

Díaz details to LA NEW ESPAÑA the latest steps taken by the company in Asturias, with a clear vocation to continue expanding and improving the Paredes warehouse. According to what he says, they saw that the demand for non-face-to-face services was increasing: “Doing it yourself still works, but people value their time more and ask you to bring it to them, assemble it or take measurements,” he points out.

The easiest solution they found to speed up the process was to intervene in the basement area, with a direct loading system for the van for departure to the homes. “In this case, the investment has not been high, but it can generate a lot,” emphasizes Díaz.

The firm already has 330 workers in Siero, after a 10% increase in employment in the last year. “This has been achieved because the demand for online services has increased by 50%. Instead of increasing and reducing the workforce, we have decided to maintain and increase it,” emphasizes the director of the establishment.

The good numbers give security to the Nordic multinational, which already plans a significant investment for 2022. “We have the goal of reducing our carbon footprint and, therefore, we will install solar panels on the entire deck of the ship. It will be an important bet,” highlights Díaz.
