I want but I can not

There are many things I want, but I can’t do. It’s not that I have limitations, nor is there anyone or anything that prevents me from doing it. Simply, for some unknown reason, my mind limits me from doing what I really want.

Surely this has happened to you on more than one occasion. Situations where you want to do something but for some reason you can’t. It is clear that wanting is not always power, but what happens inside you? What stops you from fighting for what you want?

The trap of I want and I can’t

Sometimes we fall into a trap that we are not fully aware of. We want something that no matter how much we want, we will not be able to get. This is because we want to achieve goals that are out of our reach. Some examples would be:

I want to be a great singer, but I don’t have a good voice or qualities for it. I want to be a gymnast, but my flexibility is zero. I want to be a dancer. balletbut my coordination. I want to dance, but I can’t because I don’t have the skills to do it.

There are many things we want to do, but sometimes we do not have the necessary qualities to carry them out.. How can you want to be a great singer if you don’t know how to sing? Sometimes we dream of realities that are not realistic. It is a trap.

“No one is safe from defeat, but it is better to lose some fights in the fight for our dreams than to be defeated without even knowing why we are fighting.”

The problem with the I want and I can’t trap is that sometimes we want to get things “by magic.” Without trying, you will not reach your goals; Without work, you will not achieve that long-awaited wealth. Nothing comes easy. You don’t really want what you want, because you neither can nor want to achieve it.

The illusion of “I can’t” and the reality of “I don’t want to”

Another circumstance that can occur is that we want to achieve something, but we get frustrated. and we keep saying that we can’t achieve it, when the true reality is that we don’t want to achieve it. It can be contradictory, because if we really don’t want to achieve something, why do we fool ourselves as if we couldn’t get it?

Sometimes This happens because there are people who expect certain results from us, other times it is simply that we lack willpower. Unless you find yourself in the trap of I want to, but I can’t, because you really can’t achieve that dream that is totally unreachable, everything can be achieved if you want it. But, you must be firm in this decision.

“Success is not achieved only with special qualities. It is above all a work of perseverance, method and organization”

-Jean-Pierre Sergent-

It’s no use wanting to achieve certain things if it really isn’t that way.. You insist on saying that you can’t finish a job, a career, a goal, when deep inside you really don’t want to achieve it. You are lying to yourself. Or do you perhaps not know what you are like?

You can do it, but you are afraid

If you have the qualities and abilities to achieve a dream that you can make real, if you really want to achieve it but it is difficult, if you find yourself blocked and paralyzed, you are probably afraid. Sometimes, achieving our dreams puts us under a lot of pressure and fears that we didn’t think we would experience.. It is normal.

Imagine that you want to be a great singer, but suddenly you find that you have to face an audience. You wanted to sing, but you never thought about the possibility of being watched. It is totally normal to be afraid when you are so focused on enhancing your abilities and getting what you want, that you forget everything around you. Don’t worry, use fear to propel you forward.

Think that Fear is an essential part of achieving everything you set out to do.. It will probably paralyze you, but you must be strong, think about your dream, look it in the eyes and achieve what you have set out to do. You can handle your fears, use them to give yourself the necessary boost to overcome yourself.

We have all gone through these I want to, but I can’t, although we must know how to identify them. First, is this something I can do for real? Second, do I really want to or am I fooling myself? Third, fears will not stop me from achieving what I want.
