Actor José de Abreu met makeup artist Carolynne Junger, or simply Carol, in 2019, at Praia do Pepê, in Rio de Janeiro. A few months later, they started dating, the target of many judgments by strangers and even acquaintances of the couple, due to the age difference between the two, since the actor is 51 years older than his beloved. This, however, did not stop both of them from persisting in the relationship and seeking happiness.

Carol, born in Niterói, where she lived with her parents, grandparents and three brothers, had recently moved to Rio de Janeiro, when she met José de Abreu, whom she affectionately nicknamed Zé. According to her, the two started talking and became intimate quickly. So much so that they decided to travel together soon after.

Since the beginning of the relationship, announced in 2019, the couple has been the target of much criticism. However, Carol has already revealed that she doesn’t care and that the age difference seems to be more difficult for the others than for the two lovebirds, especially “because when we like someone, we don’t think about age all the time”, she told Quem Magazine. .

In addition, the makeup artist explained that her boyfriend is a very young person, and she is “more head”, which means that both do not suffer from issues related to the fact that they belong to different generations.

Still on the criticism, Carol has already commented that she received many, not only in Brazil, but also when the two were traveling. However, in the family she received all the support from her parents, who already knew her preference for dating only older men.

According to the makeup artist, her family members came to talk to her, but never tried to influence her choice. Her older brother was jealous, but soon became calmer about the relationship. Still in 2019, they met each other’s families and even friends, who were surprised.

However, no negative comments stopped them from making the decision to take the relationship a step further, and in December 2019, José de Abreu announced on his Instagram profile that he had asked his girlfriend to get engaged.

The request was made during a trip to the Maldives islands. The place chosen was an underwater restaurant, with two divers holding a sign with the phrase “marry me?”, which Carol readily accepted. The post was accompanied by a beautiful declaration of love from the actor.

Carol doesn’t miss an opportunity to talk about how much she is in love with her boyfriend. She reveals that she even started including him in some of her habits, such as practicing physical activity, something the actor didn’t really like to do.

In the same interview, Carol said that what makes her most enchanted in her beloved is her will to live, always wanting to know new things and people and doing everything she is passionate about.

Initial plans were for the wedding to take place during the trip to the Maldives. However, the wish had to be postponed. This, however, did not dampen the excitement of the lovebirds, who moved to Portugal. They plan to proceed more calmly in the planning and think about doing something different, that is the face of both, and only with intimate people present.

Still on the plans, the makeup artist also revealed not to think about being a mother – the actor already has five – and completed saying that she only thinks about being a “mother of cats”. However, Carol said that this thought may change in the future, but she is not sure yet.

Their social media is full of photos and passionate tributes to each other. On the day of his beloved’s birthday, the actor declared: “I want to spend three hundred years with her!”.

Carol got a tattoo in honor of the actor. The art shows the design of a watch with the affectionate nickname “Zé” written in the middle, and a pennant with the phrase “there is no right time to love”, written in English. Another declaration of love.
