How are 6 participants who asked to leave “Big Brother Brasil”

The first Big Brother Brasil participant to withdraw from the competition was Dilsinho Mad Max. In the third season, he left the attraction with only 20 days of edition. Because of this, Rede Globo replaced him with the tour guide Harry. About his withdrawal, the tattoo artist — his current job — told how his life was after participating and that he lived four years in Europe: “There was a before and after. Many people get to know you. During all this time out, post BBB, I had to do a deconstruction and construction of what I really am”.

In the ninth edition of the reality show, in 2009, Leonardo Jancu was the second to be eliminated of his own volition. After suffering the punishment of staying in the famous white room, he couldn’t take the pressure of staying confined for 30 hours and pressed the red button. About his departure controversy, the current manager and dad explained in an interview: “I don’t think the White Room is a torture the size they paint around. You can definitely stay in there and get away with it.” And he added: “As soon as I left, obviously there was a regret when I saw that my image was great and that I would go far in the game, being able to win the million. Lucky for Max, the winner, I pressed that button!”

After getting another chance, the winner of the first show asked to leave with just five days left in the 13th edition. Despite being loved and well-voted in 2000, his situation was different in 2013. In fact, he explained in an interview, in more detail, what caused his withdrawal: “I’ll stay, fight badly with someone else and leave later with the psychological even more disturbed and the image affected out there. It’s better to leave.”

Over the years, he gained notoriety by participating in television shows. He also became one of the references of bodybuilding. As you can see from the photo, his body is all worked out, and he often participates in competitions. Furthermore, he is also a digital influencer and model.

Despite having abandoned the competition of the 15th edition of the BBB, Tamires Peloso became a winner. At the time, she was chubby and suffered several attacks, for not having the body required by the “standard of beauty” imposed by society. In fact, the muse commented on this issue: “I gained weight on the program and suffered a lot at that time to adapt, I changed my whole body. The haters messed with my psychology a lot and I absorbed too much criticism. I tried to do everything to fit in. But it wasn’t possible to please everyone. I suffered a lot”.

After leaving the program, she lost 15 kilos, underwent liposuction, had silicone implants and a bichectomy (cheek reduction). Either way, she found that she still wasn’t happy with herself. Over time, she struggled to gain self-confidence and today she is a new woman. Even with the criticism during her participation in the program, she commented that it was a very important moment in her life: “My time at BBB was very important for me to gain security. The program helped me to accept myself and, with that, I raised my self-esteem. If they call me ugly today, nothing can shake me.”

Participant Alan had to withdraw from the 16th edition of the program due to his father’s health problems. He learned from the production during a conversation in the confinement room. Despite his withdrawal, no other participant replaced him. In addition, he was invited to the program Encontro com Fátima Bernardes and commented on Ana Paula, as they had some friction during confinement: “She is a kind of Disney villain. It’s a scream, a bomb, a blow. The time I was there I got on well with her and I like her. I think he’s a nice and funny person, but a little intemperate”.

Over the years, the teacher and philosopher also decided to dedicate himself to songs. He developed an electronic music project. In the definition provided by the site, the former BBB comments on the endeavor: “GOLIDENDRAL is my first attempt at electronic music and was born as an entity without borders or gender restrictions. It’s like an organism, breathing and living freely through music.”

In the 21st edition of the reality show, Lucas Penteado — like the other participants mentioned — could not stand the pressure and asked to leave the attraction. After some conflicts with certain program mates, he withdrew. He commented in an interview about the reason that led him to make such a decision: “I didn’t leave just because I thought Brazil didn’t like me. I decided to leave because the game being played was dirty, the way he was being taken didn’t fit with my character.”

After his departure from the show and the notoriety he gained, Lucas has over eight million followers on his Instagram account. Furthermore, he works as an actor, director and presenter. As if that wasn’t enough, the star is also the lead singer of the musical group TRIPLX.

A few years later, in the 12th edition of Big Brother Brazil, participant Netinho did not even enter the house. He even asked to leave during pre-confinement, when participants stay in a hotel. The lawyer did not give many details about what led him to make that decision. In fact, it remains a mystery to this day, as it is possible to analyze by his explanation: “I asked to leave, but it wasn’t because I couldn’t stand the confinement in the hotel. I can’t say much because we signed a confidentiality agreement, but I can say that my decision was made after a conversation I had the night before the day the names were released. They asked me to stop doing something and I didn’t agree. It was nothing illegal or immoral, but I felt wronged.”

The director of the attraction, Boninho, revealed in an interview that the brother regretted the decision and asked to return: “The confinement exists for this, to test if the guy has all this desire to surrender to the program. A lot of time alone thinking about life. Then fear appears and asks to leave. Grandson regretted it and asked to come back. Unfortunately once out, it’s out.”

Still in the 12th edition of the BBB, the muse Fernanda Girão also walked the same steps as Netinho and did not even enter the house, giving up at the hotel. After the participant was unhappy with the evil thoughts of certain viewers, she chose to withdraw and explained her decision in an interview: “I was fine, calm, until I knew everything that happened”. Over the years, she became the mother of a beautiful girl and still has the statuesque body of the time.
