How are 16 “Malhação” heartthrobs that made a lot of people sigh

The series Malhação has been present on Brazilian television since 1995 and emerged with the proposal of being a program that would dialogue about issues relevant to youth. It would also conquer a new audience for this television genre so popular in the country. And how could it not be, in so many years and 26 seasons later, several heartthrobs have already passed through the small screen and drew many sighs from the audience.

Although the 20th season of the show started in 2012, it was only in 2013 that the actor joined the cast, as the mysterious biker Vitor Machado. He later appeared in the soap operas Em Família and Alto Astral and ended up returning to Malhação in 2015 — now as Tito Torres. He also acted in Tempo de Amar and A Dona do Pedaço. The heartthrob is passionate about music and has performed in Fortaleza and had music played on radio stations in Ceará.

The actor wore curls when he played Gabriel in the 19th season of the show, in 2011. Years later, he participated in soap operas such as Além do Tempo, Rock Story, O Outro Lado do Paraíso and Verão 90. He was also in the film Ricos de Amor and is in the cast of the film adaptation of the book Fazer Meu Filme, as biology teacher Marquinho.

DJ Pedro was the protagonist of the 18th season of Malhação and his interpreter drew sighs from most of the audience. Bruno Gissoni also participated in the soap operas Avenida Brasil, Flor do Caribe, Em Família, Pride e Paixão and A Dona do Pedaço. The actor is very active on social media and loves to share photos and videos with his family.

The actor was part, for the second time, of the cast of Malhação in 2009 as the villain (and later good guy) Caio. The first time he appeared in the plot was to play little Diogo, brother of the protagonist Gustavo (Guilherme Berenguer). Since appearing on the show for the second time, Humberto has participated in productions such as Ti Ti Ti, Cheias de Charme, Amor de Mãe and the film Marighella.

The heartthrob played Luciano in the 2009 season of Malhação. Two years later, he starred in the Brazilian version of Rebelde and, because of the band created in the plot, went on tour around the country. His most recent works were the films Carnaval and Moscow, both released directly on streaming platforms.

The actor debuted on TV as Luciano in Páginas da Vida, and in Malhação (2008) he played Gustavo. He also acted in A Vida da Gente and Flor do Caribe, but took a break from his career and now lives in Orlando and dedicates himself, behind the camera, to the position of director in his own production company. Oh, did you know that he is the brother of singer Tânia Mara?

Thiago Rodrigues played Bernardo in the 12th season of Malhação and in the following year he reprized the romantic couple with Fernanda Vasconcellos in Páginas da Vida. The actor is still active, alternating works between Brazil and Portugal. He currently resides in Lusitanian lands and is on the air in the soap opera Quero é Viver, playing the character Gabriel Menezes de Sousa.

Conquering the hearts of many fans, Guilherme Berenguer debuted on television giving life to vocalist Gustavo, from the fictional Vagabanda, in 2004. He also participated in productions such as Bang Bang, Sinhá Moça, Paraíso and Milagres de Jesus. However, the actor has moved away from the spotlight and lives in the United States with his wife and two children, dedicating himself to work behind the camera as a producer.

The actor was present in four seasons of Malhação (2003-2006) as Carlos Henrique, aka Kiko. Six years later he returned to the series, only this time for a few episodes, as Eriberto, the fiancé of the character Fatinha. Alexandre is still active, and his filmography includes productions such as Caras e Bocas, Ti Ti Ti, A Terra Prometida, Jesus, Jezebel and Genesis.

Despite having already participated in Estrela-Guia and O Clone, it was only in 2003 that the handsome man gained a prominent role, playing Vitor. The actor has appeared in several productions since then, including the soap opera Os Dez Mandamentos. He was also the presenter of the reality show Mestres da Sabotagem and uses his social media to raise discussions about minimalism, veganism, body care and the environment.

Cauã Reymond gave life to surfer Maumau there in 2002 and since then he has been in successful productions such as Da Cor do Pecado and A Favorita. She also starred in the soap operas Cordel Encantado and Avenida Brasil and the series Amores Roubados and Dois Irmãos. He’s on the air in A Place in the Sun.

The heartthrob gave life to Pedro, protagonist of the 9th season of Malhação in 2002. Henri was not a newbie, as he had already participated in miniseries and some soap operas on the network. After the prominent role in the series, he also participated in hits such as Celebridade, Cobras e Lagartos, the remake of Gabriela and I Love Paraisópolis. The actor also returned to Malhação — Toda Forma de Amar in 2019, playing muay thai instructor Madureira.

Giving life to the character Daniel in the 8th season of Malhação was the kick-off of Sidney Sampaio’s artistic career. The actor also participated twice, in 2008 and 2013, playing Tony and David, respectively. He has several soap operas in his filmography, including Alma Gêmea, Salve Jorge, Amor à Vida and Os Dez Mandamentos. Recently, Sidney made a cameo in the 5th season of the series Tô de Graça.

Max Fercondini was only 16 years old when Malhação Múltipla Escolha (2001) was on the air and he played the character Léo. Away from the small screen since 2016 — when he was a reporter for the program Como Sera? -, he is a great adventurer: he has crossed the Atlantic three times and lived for at least two years on his sailboat. In addition to being passionate about the sea, the actor also likes an adventure in the air and was responsible for flying a plane and recording images of Brazil for the soap opera Nos Tempos do Imperador.

The actor starred in the 8th season of the series, in 2001, with the character Guilherme. At the time, he was the crush of several fans and, according to himself, received almost a thousand letters every fortnight. He has also been in soap operas such as Kubanacan, Cobras and Lagartos, A Favourite, King David, The Ten Commandments and Genesis.

The heartthrob played the villain Romão in the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 5th seasons of Malhação, a role that gave him a lot of recognition. Since then, he has participated in other soap operas on the same station. Luigi Baricelli also participated in productions on the big screen. He is further away from the spotlight and only makes occasional appearances, such as the Mega da Virada draw — which generated memes on social media.
