1st part: Betrayal, imprisonment, denial and condemnation
On Thursday, Jesus with his disciples/ went from Bethany to Jerusalem,
make Easter, Jesus with his friends/ and suffer for our good.

Before supper, Jesus to his disciples/washed their feet with great contentment:
during supper Jesus announced/ with great pleasure his new commandment.

It was bread and wine that Jesus gave to the disciples:/ “Eat bread, it is my body” says Jesus,
“Take, drink, this wine is my blood;/ it is my life, which I will give on the cross for you!”

After supper, Jesus went up to the garden and went to pray for three hours,
sweating blood, with sadness and agony,/ drinking the Father’s cup with determination.
