BB Decora brings concept with store, decoration show and coffee lounge

The most complete furniture, trousseau, clothing and children’s decoration store in Curitiba will open in July. With a new space of 510m2, BB Decora “A Casa” brings to Batel an innovative concept that unites an architecture show, shop and cafeteria lounge, offering a complete shopping and leisure experience for the whole family. The new location is a bet by the brand on the power of the market in the midst of a pandemic.

According to the owner, Glaucia Boaron Fleischfresser, operating the store in marketplaces started 10 years ago, then they went to a corner inside a collaborative decoration store and then extended it to a 350m2 house. “Despite the challenges posed by the pandemic, we felt the need to expand the store space to an area that offered more comfort, convenience and safety so that mothers, fathers and family members could have the best shopping experience for the arrival of the baby”, he adds. .

With the threat of the coronavirus, people feel compelled to look for new ways to do everyday things, such as shopping and leisure. As a result, the demand for larger, more airy environments that are suitable for the new Covid-19 prevention protocols has increased. Glaucia believes that airy spaces with good circulation to avoid crowding are trends that are here to stay. “In the case of BB Decora, we already had the need to move to a larger space and the pandemic pushed us to take this step faster. In this way, we will offer a place that includes entertainment, shopping, leisure, good food and good music at the same time”, she explains.

BB Decora invited renowned architecture firms in the city to compose exclusive environments for the house. “The environments are being designed by Stil Arquitetura, Roberta Toigo Arquitetura, Baú Arquitetura and UP Criativa, who, in addition to designing one of the environments, also carry out all the creative joinery for the show”, reveals Glaucia.

Decora Café

In addition to the environments created by the architecture offices, the house also has the Decora Café, run by barista Daniele Sidor, from Total Cafeteria. “Our café lounge was planned to be a refuge open to the general public, but which follows the concept child friendly. We thought of this environment in a way that both mothers and Total Cafeteria’s captive clientele would feel comfortable visiting. The space will be welcoming, with lots of greenery, good food, good music and entertainment for the children, ”she adds.
