Many objects, such as household items and tools, are offered on the market with the promise that they will make our lives more convenient. But the truth is that most of these items do not fulfill the promised role. As such, they end up forgotten at the bottom of our drawers or in our closets and, in the end, are replaced by the good old objects we used to use — and which are much more useful.

Without a doubt, robot vacuum cleaners have come to make our lives easier. But the fact is that the “pet” gets stuck in some barriers, such as corners and higher mats — needing a “little push” to move again — and spends a lot of battery trying to overcome some barriers. That is, many customers expect to save time, but end up having to chase the robot all over the house. One option is to continue with the good old conventional vacuum cleaner, as you can better reach any corner of the house.

There are those who love small utensils, like those little scissors for cutting parsley and other culinary herbs. But not everyone knows that the object is not practical at all, as the little plants get stuck in the blades. Finally, there remains quite a bit of work to clean the utensil. It’s more practical (and faster) to cut with the good old knife.

Wooden spoons have been part of kitchens for a long time, in addition to being beautiful and iconic. But know that she is not hygienic at all, as there are fungi that love to proliferate in wood and humid places (like the spoon). Nowadays, there are silicone versions that are safer in terms of cleaning and combine well with different types of decor.

Just like spoons, mallets suffer from the same problem, since they are made of wood — subject to humidity — and we can hardly clean those small reliefs that knead the meat. It is best to order the tenderized meat directly from the butcher.

For juice lovers, the centrifuge is quite a help. But some people say that it is not as practical as it seems, as cleaning time is somewhat complicated, since the device has several parts. In addition, those who are disorganized may not know where they have stored each piece and, quickly, the appliance is forgotten in a corner of the kitchen. If you don’t like products that are “work”, the ideal is not to give up the much loved blender.

The protectors/rings are excellent allies for those who are already tired of accidentally cutting their fingers every time they are preparing some food. But you will hardly remember the object every time you cook and, consequently, it will be forgotten in your utensil drawer.

Similar to the squeegee, the Mop is much more practical when removing water from places, especially in rooms that do not have a drain. But, over time, it is necessary to change your refill, as moisture brings mold to the object. Also, every time he’s soaked you’ll need to duck. So the traditional Mop — mop style — is still better, and your spine will thank you in the long run.

The egg slicer is another one of those products that promise practicality. The utensil does indeed cut the food into strips, but it might not be worth all the trouble to clean it up. So, following the same reasoning as the other tips above, the ideal is to cut the eggs with a knife to save your time.

The idea of ​​​​the garlic grinder is very interesting, but it is not practical at all, since the garlic gets stuck in the teeth of the utensil and you have to remove the pieces that were stuck. Also, it takes longer to use the item than cutting with a knife.

Anyone who thinks eyeglass wraps are magical is wrong. In fact, they only clean superficially. The ideal is to clean the lenses with detergent and water and…TA-DÁÁÁÁÁÁÁ! You will have your brand new glasses! This happens because the soap removes the grease that the tissues were spreading, giving that feeling of cleanliness.
