30 Fight Club phrases to reflect on your choices – 42 Phrases

The first rule of fight club is don’t talk about fight club.

Leave work. Start fighting. Show you’re alive. If you don’t claim your humanity, you become a statistic.

I don’t want to die without scars.

We have jobs we hate to buy things we don’t need.

The things you own eventually own you.

It is only after losing everything that we are free to do anything.

First you have to surrender, first you have to know not to fear, to know that one day you will die.

Why is it that we live working to produce what we don’t consume and, in exchange for that, we consume what is not useful to us and have what we don’t use, and, in the end, we are never satisfied?

Without pain, without sacrifice, we would have nothing.

One can only resurrect after the disaster.

Is your life so empty that you can’t even think of another way to spend your time?

After fighting, everything in your life is less important.

You are not special. You are not a single, beautiful snowflake. You are made of the same decaying organic matter as everything else in the world.

You are not what you do for a living. You are not your family and you are not who you think you are. You are not your name. You are not your problems. You are not your age. You are not your hopes.

Everything you love most will reject you or die. Everything you’ve ever created will be thrown away. Everything you are most proud of will end up in trash.

Sticking feathers on your tail doesn’t make you a chicken!

We are a generation of men, raised by women.

You need to know, not fear. Knowing that someday you’re going to die, and until you don’t understand that, you’re useless.

We are by-products of a lifestyle obsession.

Nothing is static. Even the Mona Lisa is disintegrating.
