I was at the beach with my children and we went to a restaurant for lunch, I was distracted for a second and my son, 11 months old at the time, crawled over to the other table. He stood on tiptoe to reach the plate of the man at the next table, who was eating fish. When I looked, there he was pinching the food of the man who was just looking at his little face. My husband went to get the child, full of shame, and offered the boy another meal. I went to the market with my cousin, we ordered half a kilo of ground beef and went to the cashier. She kept playing with hitting the bag of meat against her leg until her bag burst and the meat fell to the floor. We were about 11/12 years old and we were so embarrassed that we didn’t know what to do. So she picked the meat off the market floor by hand, and I grabbed a bag from the fruit section. We pack the meat and ask the butcher to weigh it again. My daughter once scared the hell out of me. I had just come home from work — at that time I was paid by the day. I put the money on the counter and went to sleep, when I woke up, where’s the money? I thought right away that it had torn and I was already thinking: “If that was it, there’s a way to glue it on, right?” Then I asked: “Where is the money?” And she replied: “That old, torn paper? I threw it in the trash, mom. He’s no good for anything like that!!!” Guys, I almost fell over backwards, I went rummaging through the entire house and found my 120 reais. Once, I was with a friend and the two of us made an appointment to go out with a colleague, I don’t even remember where.
