18 years have passed since the end of Sai de Baixo and let’s show you how the cast is currently

In 1996, a Brazilian sitcom was born that would give a lot to talk about: Sai de Baixo. With the idea having been first offered and rejected by SBT, Rede Globo bought it, with the objective of achieving good ratings. The series not only conquered the lead in its time slot, but also garnered great reviews and ratings in the six years it remained on the air in our Sunday prime time.

After all this time, we at awesome.club, we feel a little homesick for the situations, the catchphrases and the characters that animated the beginning of our weeks. So we try to find out how they are today. And at the end, we present a bonus. Look what we found.

Two of the main cast performers unfortunately left us prematurely. Actress Márcia Cabrita died in 2017, at the age of 53, when she was part of the cast of the soap opera Novo Mundo by Rede Globo. Actor Luiz Carlos Tourinho died in 2008, at the age of 43, when he was part of the cast of Desire Proibido, also on Rede Globo.
