17+ Times Guests Take the Phrase “Feel at Home” Too Literally

With the advent of social networks, people are increasingly experiencing the absence of live meetings, and because of this, visiting a friend can become a real event. However, unfortunately, these encounters are not always good for the owner of the house. After all, some people leave behind a mountain of garbage, make a mess of the entire bathroom, or even take out their hunger on the host’s soap.

O incredible.club wishes a lot of patience for those who have to deal with rude guests and recommends trying to take the situation with good humor. Finally, we prepared a bonus on how to deal with “nonsense” people. Check out!

“I had a party and the next day I woke up to find that someone had bitten my soap”

“My brother’s ex-girlfriend finally moved out of my parents’ house. This is only half the mess she left.”

Imposing your principles is not the best way to get to know a person.

My son had a friend. They were around 10–11 at the time. The girl’s mother suggested coming to visit us. Upon arriving, and it was the first time she had come, the woman said that my house was not organized according to the feng shui method and began to rearrange everything. Since then, I have been wary of strangers and have not been in a hurry to invite them to visit my house. © Alla Boyko / Facebook

“Leaving a birthday party. There were tears…”

When it’s not reciprocated, let go…

Every morning my neighbor came to my house for breakfast. One day, I jokingly asked her when she would invite me to hers too. The answer was: “I’m paying off a loan, I still can’t spend money on food.” I didn’t open the door for her anymore. It’s been 10 years. © Angelina Çapkan / Facebook

When not even your sleep is respected…

I suffer from insomnia, work until 3-4 am, go to bed, get up at 6.30 am to take the kids to school, then go back to bed again. I’ve been living like this for a few months now. My mother-in-law came to visit, and she was told that I would be sleeping in the morning, as I don’t sleep at night.

With great difficulty I fell asleep around 9 am, woke up around 10.15 am to the voice of a program presenter and my mother-in-law’s comments. Still lying in bed, I heard the kitchen cabinet doors slamming, but the climax was when she opened the bedroom door and stood there, while I looked at her with eyes of amazement:

— “Oh! I thought you weren’t home.” She said, turning and walking away.

There are guests who will be inconvenient until the end

My ex-wife’s sister used my $150 kitchen knife to try to open a coconut. She somehow managed to bend the tip of the knife. And she even said that it must have been a cheap knife because her sister in Thailand opened coconuts very easily with that utensil. Oh, oh the relatives…

My mother asked me to shelter some relatives for a few days. She had never seen them in person, but it was inconvenient to refuse. And so Yuri and Rosana arrived, apparently normal people. It was two days, and when they were leaving, I realized that something was wrong: all the bread was gone, the oil was not in place, and the week’s food jars were empty for some reason.

So I jokingly said, “Wow, we ate so much in a few days.” Rosana began to nervously explain that the bread was moldy and that she had given it to the birds. But at that moment, the bag that was in Yuri’s hands ripped. Several of my bowls with all my food fell.
