The comedy Gentlemen Prefer Blondes, with Marilyn Monroe and Jane Russell in the lead roles, is mostly known for the scene with the song Diamonds are a Girl’s Best Friends. But the film’s final scene in which the two beautiful actresses walk down the aisle in delicate lace dresses, absolutely identical, is also unforgettable. The designer behind these dresses, as well as several other Marilyn Monroe outfits, was William Travilla.

To make the wedding dress for Jupiter Jones, played by Mila Kunis, they used tulle decorated with ruby ​​crystals.
