15 Shameful Translations Made by Some People Who Relyed Too Much on Machine Translators

In many occasions, people rely too much on Google Translate; although there are some relatively correct translations, other times, the results are to cry. In fact, many netizens shared some of the funniest interpretations from Portuguese to English or vice versa that they saw on products, food menus and even posters.

O awesome.club wants to share with you some of the funniest translations where people probably thought they were doing pretty well, but in fact turned out to be just another flop. Check out!

1. “Who wants some soup?”

(the correct thing would be to use “soap” which is “soap”)

2. “An excellent translation”

“Exhausted Floaters” was translated into English as: “Exhausted Floaters”

Batata brava, the dish, was translated as “Angry Potato🇧🇷

In its place, the translator put “domestic plate copyright” which means, in literal translation, “copyright of domestic dishes”, that is … it has nothing to do.

The mother-in-law’s tongue, in addition to being a common toy at birthday parties, is also a type of sweet bread, which exists in Brazil and in several Spanish-speaking countries; in the English translation, it was used “language of mother in law” which means “the tongue—mother-in-law’s language.” In short, she subverted the name of the candy.
