Deciding to start a family is something that changes people’s lives forever. Mothers and fathers say that children arrive to provide the best of experiences, filling everything with meaning. However, there are those who take years to decide to follow this path and who feel so grateful for life when they reach a mature age to the point of bringing a baby into the world at ages that are unusual for most people.

O awesome.club compiled a list of celebrities who, despite having crossed the 50-year-old mark, chose to have a baby in their arms, moving their family life in the best possible way.

Ronnie Wood, guitarist for the iconic band The Rolling Stones, has two daughters with his partner, Sally. Gracie Jane and Alice Rose were born the day before Wood’s 70th birthday.

Janet Jackson became a mother for the first time in 2017, when she was 50 and still married to Qatari businessman Wissam al Mana. She gave birth to a boy, named Eissa al Mana.

Bruce Willis was 57 years old when he became the father of little Mabel Ray Willis, the first of his daughters with Emma Heming. Two years later, the couple had Evelyn Penn.

In 2002, the former member of the Beatles married Heather Mills, a former model who militated against landmines. The following year, in 2003, their daughter was born. At the time, McCartney was 61 years old.

Carys is the daughter of Douglas and actress Catherine Zeta-Jones. When the little girl was born, the actor was 59 years old. But three years earlier, at 56, he had already become the father of Dylan Michael.

Alec Baldwin is the father of five children, four of which are the result of his most recent marriage to Spanish Hilaria Thomas. Their youngest child was born in 2018, when Baldwin was 60 years old. Today, the couple continues to want to expand their family.

Today, he has five grandchildren and one great-grandchild, but the latter is not the youngest of the dynasty. The post belongs to Jagger’s youngest son, Deveraux Octavian Basil Jagger, born in 2016. The musician was 73 years old when the little one came into the world.

George Lucas, who you may know as the creator of the entire saga Star Wars, has four children with two different women. With the last of them, Mellody Hobson, he had a daughter in 2013, when he was 69 years old.

Steve Martin made his union with Anne Stringfield official in 2007. Then, he would become a father for the first time, in 2012. When little Mary Martin was born, the actor was 67 years old.

Rod Stewart has been a father multiple times. His last marriage was celebrated in 2007, with Penny Lancaster, mother of two of his children: Alastair Wallace and Aiden Patrick. The latter was born when the singer was 66 years old, that is, in 2011.

Charlie Chaplin was married four times, having a total of 11 children. With Oona O’Neill, his last wife, he had eight children and the firstborn was Geraldine Chaplin, born when the comedian was 55 years old.

George Clooney waited a while to decide to have kids. He married Amal Alamuddin in 2014 and would become father to twins Alexander and Ella three years later. The actor made his parenthood debut at age 56.
