At Modern Toilet, in Taipei, capital of Taiwan, the seats are toilets (don’t worry, they don’t really work). Food comes in dishes in the form of toilets, sinks or bathtubs and drinks, in small urinals. Even with all this appearance that can make many people sick, the place is full and receives tourists from all over the world.

At this diner in Las Vegas, customers are treated like “patients” by “doctor” chefs and “nurses” waitresses. The order is noted as a “prescription”. To keep the public motivated, the bar/restaurant partners are always creating competitions, performances, exhibitions of Brazilian artists reinterpreting heroes, they keep a library of comic books available to anyone who wants to read them and they invent a thousand other fashions.

The menu at this bar/restaurant also appeals to adventure fans, as shown by the drink in honor of the Ninja Turtles. The dolls are part of an extensive collection of action figures of the partners, which is displayed in the bar, for the delight of collectors.

The place is small, but it holds all the magic of Harry Potter’s adventures, translated into flaming drinks and food, sweets that imitate a magic book and other surprises. Platform 1094 customers have capes, hats and scarves the same as those used by Hogwarts school students, to rock their Instagram photos.

The afternoon tea tray is a special treat from the house. It is decorated with dolls of characters from the series, has sweets in the form of owls, chocolate frogs, Quidditch-themed coffee and other treats.

Before being taken to the table, the customer talks to one of the investigators on duty, in a room that simulates an old office. Only then will you be allowed to enter the hall. During the night of drinks and fun, people are encouraged to solve small mysteries. The most astute “detectives” win gifts and discounts.

The atmosphere is all inspired by the Prohibition period (1920-1933), when it was forbidden to sell alcoholic beverages in the United States.
