I worked on a university campus watching the cameras. I was doing my routine check around 1am while talking to my colleague who was also on duty. As I walked past the cameras, I saw a guy standing in our doorway about to walk in. I went back to the camera and my friend and I stopped everything we were doing and looked at each other because the guy was just gone. I switched to another camera that was shooting at another angle and he was nowhere to be seen. I asked my friend if he wanted to check it out and he said, “no way”. We checked the footage to see if we saw it right, and sure enough it was there, but we never found it on any other camera at that time. She walked in with the band that was rehearsing and I assumed she didn’t feel like being inside that noisy studio. So I got up and went to tell her she was welcome in reception where she had a sofa and a television. I went out into the hall and she was gone. I went back to my desk and the video showed her still sitting there. So I went back one more time and I didn’t find her. I assumed she had entered the room, so I knocked and they informed me that the girl had left a while ago, right after they started rehearsing. So I went back and there she was, still on camera. Once, I was watching the recording of a camera that was located in the kitchen. Around 2am a very drunk guest came in, got something to eat and accidentally dropped an empty bottle on the floor. So he threw it in the air, kicked the bottle and it went flying all over the kitchen and landed right in the trash. The drunk guy raised his hands euphorically and started walking in circles in the kitchen: apparently, he was (positively) shocked by his own feat.
