14 Artists Who Made Works Honoring Stan Lee

Stan Lee, father of Marvel superheroes, passed away on November 12th at the age of 95. For many artists, he was a reference since childhood: in several cases, the comic book characters created by Lee were responsible for making many illustrators decide to follow this profession. And as it couldn’t be otherwise, several of them decided to pay a final tribute to Stan Lee in the way they most dominate: in the form of art.

8. Lina Prime

Lina is an Argentine artist dedicated to drawings and illustrations. Her work mainly consists of creating characters and comics.

9. Johnny Lighthands

Johnny Lighthands is a British artist, specialist in the creation of characters through the use of the computer.

10. Mauricio Abril

The conceptual artist specializes in video games and cartoons. Some of its most important clients are: The Walt Disney Company, Coca-Cola and Hasbro.

11. Mark Paul Deren

Better known as Madsteez, the spray artist has worked with top brands like Nike, Red Bull and Volkswagen (among many others).

12. Marcelo Padron Alves

The artist works as an illustrator for the newspaper “A Tribuna”, from Santos. He is famous for his works in which he addresses current affairs.

13. Gabriel Soares

Gabriel Soares is another Brazilian artist, known for his illustrations inspired by movie characters, books, comic books and cartoons.

14. Hayati’nin Evreni

The visual artist’s creations are characterized by a mixture of classic works and current scenes.

15. Lushsux

Lushsux is an Australian muralist responsible for street art that is characterized by provocation and generating controversy.
