Flight attendants are the face of airlines, so companies pay special attention to their clothes. Let’s take a look at the companies that dress their flight attendants in the most stylish uniforms.

O awesome.club chose 11 examples to show how different the choice of this outfit can be. Haute couture pieces, with ethnic motifs, national styles and colorful prints: anything goes for airlines to become unmistakable.

The company entrusted the design of its uniforms to stylist Laurence Xu and, as you can see, it was a good decision. The collection was presented at Paris Fashion Week in Autumn/Winter 2017.

Italian independent fashion designer Ettore Bilotta created a uniform for the second largest airline in the UAE. The idea was to combine the couture fashion of Paris, the 60s in Rome with the modern looks of the catwalks of New York and London. It looks like the mission has been accomplished.

One of the hottest airlines in the world, Emirates takes the appearance of its employees very seriously, so it’s not surprising that its uniform is one of the most recognizable. They even teach flight attendants how to wear their hats and tie their scarves properly.

The Scottish airline Longanair started using the famous checkered pattern to make its organization recognized in any airport in the world.

French designer Pierre Balmain created the uniform for Singapore Airlines in 1969. The clothes are produced in 4 colors that symbolize the level of flight attendants. For example, red is the color of the highest level helper.

We’re used to seeing flight attendants in dresses or skirts, but Compagnie dressed them in practical shorts. Girls can also opt for a pencil skirt, but apparently few want to give up the airline’s distinguishing feature.

Garuda Indonesia stewardesses wear a reinvented sarong, which resembles traditional Southeast Asian clothing. By the way, in 2017, the airline’s crew received the title of the best in the world at the “Oscars” of airlines: the Skytrax World Airline Awards.

In general, the Lufthansa flight attendant uniform is no different from the standard, but not during Oktoberfest. In honor of Germany’s famous festival, the team works annually with pieces that resemble the national clothes worn in Bavaria, the party’s home state.

In 2005, the company EVA Air together with Sanrio debuted several aircraft decorated in the style of Hello Kitty. Tickets, drawings on planes, pillows and food: everything is done in the same style. As are the flight attendants’ clothes, of course.

The airline belongs to the government of Brunei. This is probably why the flight attendants’ uniform is so similar to traditional sultanate clothing.

The dress with a large colorful print is an unusual selection for flight attendants, but Air New Zealand likes it. At least he managed to create a very different uniform.
