1. kingdom

if in game of Thrones what caught you most were the court intrigues, you will certainly enjoy this series. kingdom It’s not a boring historical drama. Here’s an army of undead looking like zombies, a fight for the throne (like in GoT) and a series of intrigues involving the ruler of a kingdom. two. Too Old To Die Young

3. The Spanish Princess

A plot about Catherine of Aragon, princess of Spain (1485-1536). From her childhood, she knew that she would marry an English prince and become the Queen of England. And so it happened. However, her husband (Arthur, Prince of Wales) died suddenly and hope of winning the throne was apparently lost until she realized that she could marry the youngest heir to the crown — Henry VIII.

Doesn’t that remind you of something? Yes, the marriage and death of King Joffrey Baratheon. After some time, the widow became engaged to her younger brother-in-law. In real historical events, as you can see, the intrigues are similar. Or, as the saying goes, art imitates life.

4. Britannia

The Britannia series is also inspired by real events: the viewer will see the battle of the Romans with Celtic tribes. However, this is not a documentary series, but, above all, a production with a focus on fantasy. Therefore, the plot has ingredients of magic, prophecies and powerful forces. The story also has generous doses of love, friendship, destiny and epic battles that, just like in GoT, hold the viewer, taking them to true marathons of episodes.

5. Queen Sugar

This series might be for Arya and Sansa fans who have found themselves wondering what they could do with the family legacy. 6. The Punisher (The Punisher)

the plot of The Avenger is simple and uncomplicated: a man’s family is killed in a gang shootout. He is devastated and decides to take revenge, starting a hunt for the culprits. Leaving aside some aspects of the plot, much of the plot is reminiscent of the unfolding of GoT: Arya swore to avenge her family, created a list of culprits and, in the end, achieved her goals.

The Avenger (The Punisher) is based on the popular comic book series of the same name, and the plot twists are reminiscent of aspects of GoT.

7. Roswell, New Mexico

The action of this series takes place in the small town of Roswell, United States. The heroine returns after a few years of school and soon discovers that, in this seemingly peaceful place, half the people possess supernatural abilities. In the same way as in game of Throneshere, simpler characters live together with powerful ones, and anyone can become special if they understand what their mission is.

8. The Rookie

9. The Son

The family is one of the main pillars of game of Thrones🇧🇷 We watched as the Starks and Lannisters fought each other as new lords and rulers appeared, replacing the old ones forever. In The Son, we also see great value in family relationships, as well as numerous struggles between relatives. And, in place of the famous Lannister gold, here what we have is black gold…petroleum. However, the ups and downs of the family turn out to be as epic as those of the “golden lions”.

10. warrior

At the heart of Warrior’s plot is a clan, not linked by kinship, but by shared views and lust for power. This series is able to hook viewers who like plots in the “poor to rich” style, which was in abundance in GoT. Just remember Tyrion’s defender Bronn and even Daenerys Targaryen herself, who at the beginning of the series is sold to Khal Drogo.

In Warrior, the protagonist also has to start from scratch. However, he quickly makes the necessary connections and gains authority, something that, of course, angers those who wish to remain in power.

A good series, regardless of genre, has the power to conquer them, not only for its content, but also for secondary aspects, such as parallel plots and the dramas of some characters. Is that you? What catches your attention the most in a series or movie?
