Saint Terezinha’s prayer to obtain a grace

‘Oh! Saint Therese of the Child Jesus, model of humility, trust and love! From the heights of heaven, pour over us these roses that you carry in your arms: the rose of humility so that we may overcome our pride and accept the yoke of the Gospel; the rose of trust, so that we abandon ourselves to the will of God and rest in his Mercy; the rose of love, so that, opening our souls without measure to grace, we may accomplish the only end for which God created us in his Image: to love him and make him loved, you who spend your heaven doing good on earth, help him me in this need, and grant me from the Lord what I ask of thee, if it be for the glory of God and for the good of my soul. Amen.’
Pray an Our Father.

Saint Terezinha’s prayer to bring light

“Saint Terezinha of the Child Jesus, who went through the dark night of the soul, without any spiritual consolation and, sustained by faith, recovered the joy of living, implore the Good God for me, so that I may be able to overcome this state of sadness in that I find myself, this absurd darkness that has taken over my heart. Illuminate, Holy Doctor, my intelligence so that I discover that only God is enough for me and that I must, in everything and for everything, carry out only his will, this Merciful God, who carries me in his arms, even when I feel abandoned, without any light to guide me. Give me to believe, full of hope, that all despair has an end, because the love of Jesus frees hearts from the chains of fear and anguish. Give me a smile, O Santinha, and provide for me, together with the Father, the Gift of joy. May this Gift heal me and set me free, make me see the new lights that are lit: the Father’s love begins to shine for me, His mercy begins to warm me and I open myself to the new life that the Holy Spirit of God brings me , the same Spirit that anointed your life. O Santa das Rosas, with the precious oil of joy, which I urgently need to be able to praise the Father and the Son, with nothing to weigh my heart. I firmly believe that I will be answered, that my cry of anguish will be heard and I pledge to spread your devotion. Amen.”

Prayer to Saint Terezinha – Prayer to Saint of the Roses

“Saint of the Roses, you walked the Little Way of humility and submission to the will of God. Teach us, O Holy Teacher, Doctor of the Church, the path of holiness that is born from listening to the Word of God, from carrying out simple and unimportant things in the eyes of the world. We ask you to continue to fulfill your promise to rain roses of grace and blessing on the world. We yearn for roses, many roses from your garden. Share with us the graces you receive from God the Father. Intercede for us with Him. Through your prayers, may the Lord come to the aid of our needs. (Ask at this moment for the desired grace). Watch, O Flower of Carmel, for our families: may there be peace, understanding and dialogue in our homes. Watch over our homeland, so that we have righteous rulers, in tune with the aspirations of the suffering people. Watch over us, so that the missionary spirit permeates all our actions. Saint Terezinha, pray for us. Amen.”
