Prayer to talk to God our Lord before we go to sleep

My Father, now that the voices have silenced and the screams have faded, here at the foot of the bed and my soul rises towards You to tell you:

I believe in you, I hope in you, and I love you with all my strength, glory to you, Lord!

I put in your hands the fatigue and the struggle, the joys and the disappointments of this day behind you.

If my nerves betrayed me, if selfish impulses overwhelmed me, if I gave up or gave way to rancor or sadness, forgive me Lord!

Have mercy on me.

If I was unfaithful, I spoke words in vain, if I let myself be carried away by impatience, if I was a thorn for someone, forgive me Lord!

Tonight I don’t want to fall asleep without feeling in my soul the security of your mercy, your sweet mercy completely free.

Lord, I thank you, my father, because you have been the cold shadow that has covered me all this day.

I thank you because invisible, affectionate and attractive, you took care of me as a mother at all times.

Lord, all around me is silence and calm.

Send the angel of peace to this house.

Relax my nerves, calm my spirit, release my tensions, flood my being with silence and serenity.

Watch over me, dear father, as I trustfully surrender to sleep like a child sleeping happily in your arms.

In your name, Lord, I will rest easy.

Dear God, here I am the day is over

I offer you my love.

Thank you, my God, for everything that you, my Lord, gave me.

Keep me and my brother and my father and mother under your mantle.

Prayer for night sleep.

Lord my God, before I sleep, I raise this prayer.

I ask the Lord to bless all those who are going to sleep as well, and those who are already sleeping, and those who are going to sleep only later; even for those who sleep at night to work and support their families.

Bless everyone by giving everyone a good night’s rest and quiet, peace and comfort.

Bless the dream of my family, parents, brothers, children and all other relatives.

Bless my husband/wife’s dream. And bless my dream.

Protect our lives while we sleep, take care of us. Let nothing bad overlap and give us a restful and peaceful sleep.

And that while we sleep, the Lord can prepare us for the next day to be blessed, full of good times, joy and harmony.

Please also visit all the prayers that are being raised at this time and grant the provisions that so many people are crying for now.

The Lord knows our needs and dreams, and I believe in Your faithfulness, which does not let us lose what we need on a daily basis, nor does it fail to fulfill the promises that the Lord has made and does.
