This prayer of Nanã for love is a guarantee of protection against anyone who wants to separate you. Before making it, put 4 cloves of purple garlic in a pot, under the stove. Whenever a garlic wilts, replace it with a new one.

Blessed and praised be the sacred name of our Mother Nanã Buruku. In the four corners of life or in the four corners of death, I will always be asking Nanã to free me and (say the name of the loved one) from the spells and mandingas that may have come to separate us. I will always have this garlic at home so that no enemy can take me by surprise, because the enemy fire that appears will soon find a barrier.

I know that love does not ask to enter people’s hearts and the love of (say the name of the loved one) entered mine.

Who is Nanã Buruquê?

Tradition says that Nanã was already on Earth when Orunmilá produced it, so Nanã Buruquê is considered the oldest orixá. In addition to protecting souls at the time of passage, she is also the guardian of the gate between life and death. Therefore, she is responsible for the spiritual transformation of people for their new lives.

Mother of life and death, Nanã is also called grandma for being the protector of ancestry and caregiver of the sick and elderly. For her faithful, July 26 is her celebration day and, with that, they light purple or white candles so that Nanã can light up their paths.
