Your majesty and Your sovereignty,
That you inscribe my name, by Your Supreme Pen,
As one of Thy sincere servants whom the scrolls of sinners did not prevent from turning to the Light of Thy Countenance,

Second prayer to ask for forgiveness

Thy mercy I ask, O my God, and pardon I implore
The way You want Your servants to address You.
I ask you to cleanse us from our sins,
As befits Your dignity as Lord,
And may You forgive me, my parents, and those who, in Your estimation,
They entered the abode of Your love,
If a way worthy of Your transcendent sovereignty
And befitting the glory of Thy heavenly power.
O my God! You inspired my soul to offer You its supplication,
And if it weren’t for You, I wouldn’t invoke You.
Praised and glorified art thou;
I give you praise because you have revealed yourself to me,
And I beg you to forgive me, for I failed in my duty to know you
And I stopped walking in the path of Your love.
