Meet the characters of When Calls the Heart –

In day August 25thThe Record TV will have a new series in its programming, the production When Calls the HeartThe plot tells the story of Elizabeth Thatcher (Erin Krakow), who starts working as a teacher in a small town, however it is not an easy task, as it is a new world in which she will need to adapt.

To stay inside the braid, meet the main characters of When Calls the Heart:

Elizabeth Thatcher (Erin Krakow) – Heiress to a millionaire family in the city of Hamilton, she is a cultured, extroverted woman who is very used to luxury. She is the daughter of businessman William (Garwin Sanford) and dondoca Gracie (Lynda Boyd), in addition to having two sisters: the youngest Julie Thatcher (Charlotte Hegele) and the oldest, Viola Thatcher (Devon Weigel).

The character, is a teacher in the beginning of her career, Elizabeth has a very strong personality and does not like to be controlled. Her life in Hamilton is pretty good, of course, due to the family’s wealth. However, the always restless “Liz”, as she is also called, feels that something is missing to be fully happy. From that, she accepts the challenge of teaching in the small Coal Valley, against the family’s wishes, in search of personal fulfillment and independence.

But Elizabeth, at the height of her 20s and without knowing the world beyond the social bubble in which she lived, cannot imagine the surprises she will have ahead of her.

Jack Thornton (Daniel Lissing) – He is a man known for his integrity and character. A member of the Royal Police, he is transferred to Coal Valley and it doesn’t take long to win the spell of the residents. He gets angry when he suspects that his transfer to the village was because of an order from Elizabeth’s father.

Abigail Stanton (Lori Loughlin) – Strong, determined woman and great leader in Coal Valley. She loses her husband and child in a coal mine explosion. After the incident, she works hard to support the household, without losing her good humor and sense of solidarity. The character is Elizabeth’s best friend.

Henry Gowen (Martin Cummins) – The city’s almighty man owns the coal mining company. But after an accident leaves 47 miners dead, he is accused of negligence and goes to jail for stealing funds from Coal Valley.

Bill Avery (Jack Wagner) – Quiet and rigid, he is an investigator who arrives in Coal Valley to investigate the coal mine accident. He falls in love with Abigail, however, Nora (Kristina Wagner), a wife he hasn’t seen for years and supposedly wanted a divorce, arrives in town looking for him and ruins his plans for a new and promising romance.

Rosemary LeVeaux Coulter (Pascale Hutton) – Known as “Rosie”, she is modern, extravagant and works as an actress. She goes to the village to win back her great love, Jack, but her attempts are far from successful. She even teaches acting classes in Coal Valley.

Leland Coulter (Kavan Smith) – Owner of a sawmill in Coal Valley and better known as “Lee”, he is a polite man, extremely kind and, above all, patient with everyone around him. Leland piques Rosemary’s interest when he arrives in town on his motorcycle.

Faith Carter (Andrea Brooks) – Nurse and former acquaintance of Jack. It was she who took care of the policeman’s brother when he had a car accident in Hamilton.

Julie Thatcher (Charlotte Hegel) – Elizabeth’s younger sister, she is a kind girl and also, at the same time with a wild spirit and a bit dramatic. She loves to live in a daring and adventurous way, without measuring the consequences, especially for the people around her.
