Ex-policeman found dead was expelled from the corporation and arrested three times –

The former military police officer found buried this Tuesday afternoon (5), in Almirante Tamandaré, in the Metropolitan Region of Curitiba, had passages through the prison system. Hélio Maurício Bento, 44 ​​years old, was part of the corporation until 2004, but was expelled. Currently, the man, who has already been arrested three times for crimes such as extortion, vehicle theft and attempted murder, wore an electronic anklet.

The victim’s body was found buried in a grave located in a thicket, near the side of a highway, in Almirante Tamandaré. According to information from the experts, Hélio had marks of aggression on his body, in addition to a wound caused by a gunshot to the head.

Ex-policeman disappears in Curitiba

The police investigate possible involved and the motivation of the crime. According to the family, Hélio left for work on the morning of last Friday (1st) and did not return anything. The last time the man was seen was at Alameda Júlia da Costa, in the central region of Curitiba. Relatives and friends even shared photos of the former police officer so that he could be located.

This Tuesday afternoon, the police found Hélio’s body buried in the Prado neighborhood, in Almirante Tamandaré. The former police officer’s vehicle has not been located.

According to the family, the man currently worked as a computer technician and app driver. Hélio’s burial will take place this Wednesday (6) at the Roseira Cemetery.
