The Aquarius Constellation is one of the Zodiac Constellations, cataloged by Ptolemy in the 2nd century.

It is located in the northern hemisphere and can be seen close to other constellations associated with water, such as Pisces, Whale and Dolphin.

Other stars in the constellation are Sadalmelik (Alpha Aquarii), another yellow supergiant, and Skat (Delta Aquarii), the third brightest.

The myth about the Constellation of Aquarius reports the fact that Zeus was strolling on top of the mountains and saw Ganymede, the most beautiful mortal his eyes had ever seen.

Then, he transforms into an eagle and invites you to climb onto his back. Excited about the adventure, Ganymede is kidnapped by the god, who later gives him the task of serving nectar to the gods on Olympus.

In his honor, the god later transforms him into the constellation Aquarius, the water-bearer!
