How to ask the 7 Powers?

Each deity meets a different function, so, what you are going to ask for must be related to the deity. There is even a different way to greet each one, but if you don’t know, here I show you:

Choose: To eliminate the obstacles that come your way, the greeting is: Layoré, Elegguá!
Yemaya: helps fertility, maternity and couple relationships. His greeting is: Omío Yemayá Omoloddé! Yemaya Ataramawa!
Obatala: brings peace and harmony and his greeting is: Jekuá Baba!
Oshun: represents love and his greeting is: Yalodde Yeyé Kari!
Orula: represents wisdom and his greeting is: Orula Iboru, Orula Iboyá, Orula Ibosheshe!
Oggun: He is in charge of protecting the work and his greeting is: Oggun Kobú Kobú, Aguanilé!
Shango: He is in charge of controlling the enemies and his greeting is: Kaó Kaniesilé, Shangó Alufina!

You must take each of the qualities into account when making a request because, as you may have noticed, each one has a different purpose. What you should do is the following:

On a table you must place a tablecloth that is preferably white. Place each of the figures or images that belongs to each deity of the 7 powers. In the center of the table place a clay or ceramic plate (never plastic) and on it you will place a 7-color candle that symbolizes the 7 powers. If you can’t find a candle with all 7 colors, you can choose to buy a candle of each color. The colors are white, green, blue, purple, red, orange and yellow. Place the offerings correspond to each deity on this altar To this you must add honey, grated coconut (essential), a glass of water, flowers and fruits. The offerings must remain in the place until they deteriorate and only change them for new ones only when you go to make a new request. Light the candle or candles and read the prayer to the 7 african powers and make a promise at the end. At the end of the prayer you must put out the candle or candles.
