It is believed that the branch has the power to make us feel closer to Jesus and some people believe, for example, that during a storm, burning these branches, it will soften.

The Procession of Palms serves to reflect that, as Christians, we are on a pilgrimage on the way to eternal life with God. The Palm Mass should make us reflect on the suffering of the Passion of Jesus, the betrayal of Judas; his blood with sweat shed on the Cross to save us.
