Man kills friend, dismembers, rips out heart and keeps pieces in fridge in PR –

The Paraná Civil Police is investigating the death of welder José Adilson dos Santos, 42, who was dismembered and had part of his body stored in the refrigerator of the house where he lived, in Rio Branco do Sul, in the Metropolitan Region of Curitiba. The crime would have happened last Thursday (19), but the body was only located on Saturday (21), by neighbors. The suspect would still have ripped out the victim’s heart.

According to the police, the suspect of committing the crime is a friend who lived with Santos. They would have fallen out last week and the victim was violently murdered. Still, the suspect would have dismembered his friend and stored body parts in the fridge.

During the crime, the victim had his chest cut open and his heart ripped out, according to the Military Police. The suspect would have left the house running through the neighborhood with his friend’s heart in his hands, according to witness reports.

The suspect would have gone to his parents’ house and confessed to the crime, but the family members did not believe the story. It was the neighbors who missed the victim, realized there was blood in the house, broke down the door and caught the scary scene. “A very big tragedy,” said a neighbor. “The two were friends, but I don’t know, a lot of drugs, I don’t know why I killed him”, said a witness.

According to police chief Irineu Pontes, from the Rio Branco do Sul police station, the main motivation for the crime was the wrong sharing of a quantity of drugs. “The victim would have pulled out a knife and invested against the author, who took the knife and struck the victim”, explained the delegate.

The Civil Police of Paraná is investigating the case and should ask for the arrest of the suspect in the coming days.
