If you are thinking about changing your look at this stage, take the opportunity to remove unwanted volume or take care of weak and falling hair.

To really remove the volume and have hair that grows more slowly, you will need to cut a lot, but look at the bright side, the change and the novelty. It’s a delight to leave the salon with a new face!

Check out tips to cut hair on the Waning Moon and make it thinner:

• If your hair is straight, keep it longer and gently chop it. It will give a certain irregularity to the cut, giving the impression of less volume.
• If your hair is curly or you prefer short hair, opt for a shorter cut at the nape of the neck and longer at the side.
• The profiled cut works more on the front of the hair, with a slight cut, decreasing the volume on the side of the face.
• You can clip your hair, but don’t unravel to avoid frizz.
• Take the opportunity to comb your hair while it is still wet. Once it’s dry, use your fingers or a large-toothed comb to tame frizz.
• The ideal is to let your hair dry naturally, but if this is not possible, use a diffuser nozzle in the dryer and never set the highest temperature.
• Position the dryer from top to bottom and go “kneading” the wires, removing the volume.
