“Even if I have the gift of prophecy and know all mysteries and all knowledge, and have a faith that can move mountains, but if I don’t have love, I’m nothing.” (1 Corinthians 13:2) You must have the character of Christ in order to please God. It’s no use doing everything to please God if we are not humble and don’t have empathy for our neighbor, because then the works we do will be dead. Action is useless without love in the heart.
