How did radiesthesia arise?

To talk about how dowsing came about, it is important to first define its meaning. The word radiesthesia is composed of two terms: radiuswhich comes from Latin and means radiation, and aisthesisof Greek origin and meaning sensitivity, so dowsing means radiation sensitivity.

The first indications of the use of dowsing by man were found in prehistoric cave inscriptions in Peru, where a man with a somewhat mystical appearance can be seen wielding a fork, a Y-shaped piece of wood, considered the oldest radionic device that if you have a record.

In Brazil, dowsing was first used between 1905 and 1916 by the Franciscans of Mato Grosso, who used the pendulum for diagnosis and treatment, essentially through medicinal herbs, for the local population.

The use of the pendulum

The pendulum is the main instrument of dowsing works as a detector to extract, analyze, select and test the most subtle energies or radiations of any body or thought, through the questions formulated by the dowser and/or through a precise intention.

If the pendulum is used correctly, it can provide true answers to the querent. This is because each element present in the Universe is energy in continuous evolution, which is in constant movement and is contained in our unconscious, energetic and vibrating questions and intentions, which we transmit and receive to/through the world.

What should I not ask?

If you are new to dowsing and are not sure what to ask during the consultation, here are some tips on types of questions that should be avoided:

• questions with negative emotions (anger, jealousy, etc.);
• questions just out of curiosity;
• vague questions or questions that have more than one answer;
• questions in which the answer is already known (with the exception of exercising and testing self-confidence).

But remember that there are no fixed rules about what to ask the pendulum, it all depends on your true intentions and energetic openness you have to transmit the right vibrations and get better results.
