Sometimes I wonder what I did to deserve a person like you in my life. Listen to me, pamper me, respect me, give me affection and fill me with love. Even when everything seems to fall apart I remember everything we’ve been through together and it gives me the strength to keep going.

You came softly and conquered me day after day. I can’t imagine myself without you by my side. With each passing day I learn more from you. I always asked God for a person who looked like me, and he gave me the complete opposite. I am chaos and you calm. Our love is strengthened in our differences.

When you hold my hand I feel like I can go further and further. You are my “safe harbour. Sometimes you piss me off, I won’t deny it. But you own the most beautiful smile I’ve ever known, when you smile all the reasons I had to be mad disappear.

Thank you for taking such good care of me, for accepting me as I am, for respecting me. Thank you for all the times you dried my tears in the midst of my crying spells. Thank you for all the warm hugs. Thank you for all the times you encouraged me to keep going. Thank you for dreaming my dreams. Thank you for staying even though I had reasons to go. Thank you for being my best friend.

Thank you for every night listening to music until daybreak. Thanks for putting up with me on tpm. Thank you for waiting for me to get home from work every night. Thank you for always making me laugh. Thank you for never giving up on us. Thank you for existing and letting me be a part of your life.

Among so many choices I had, choosing you was the best of them all. I’ve always wanted a love like this that we have. God took great care and gave me more than I asked for, may it always be like this: me for you and you for me.
