When it’s time to finally let go after a breakup

Share:

This is a difficult time. Currently, you can’t see any way out of the dark pit that is your emotions.

It feels like the world is falling apart on your back.

This is temporary. I swear. The hardest thing you will go through right now is accepting the fact that you are the most important person in your life. Why do you need someone to love you and complete you if you are already complete on your own? Especially when you have so many amazing people (your family, your friends, your neighbors) by your side.

If it didn’t work for that person, that doesn’t mean that of all the humans on this planet, it won’t work for someone else.

So take that thought and be content that you can experience more beings in your life on this planet. Not only did you make great memories before this breakup, but you will continue to do so for sure. Showing your love and sharing your life with different people. The beauty of love is that you have the ability to reuse it and project it around yourself and others.

You are not that separation. You’re just experiencing a little bit of the sting. When you are stung, there is a sharp pain that takes over every part of your body. Your body processes this pain naturally. It can be a gradual process for sure. But when it’s over, the relief will soothe all parts of you, whether that’s noticeable or you just forget what you felt before and move on peacefully.

You are needed and wanted on this planet, so don’t you dare think otherwise. What you’re feeling hurts. Feel it all – accept it. Remember that you are a being with strong emotions, which is such a beautiful thing these days…

The sooner you come to terms with the fact that this person is not coming back, the sooner you will release that love from your heart. Yes, she might look back a few months and think, “What did I do?” but by then you’ve moved on and realized you didn’t need that shit. Don’t cling to a hope you don’t really want.

Start the hobby you’ve always wanted to do, join the gym, watch all the movies your heart could desire. DO EVERYTHING you thought you couldn’t do before and don’t let anything stop you.

You are you, and that is what is needed. Don’t change who you are because you think you weren’t enough for that person. Simply learn from the time you’ve spent trying to please someone and focus on something bigger.

You’ll be fine. But for now, it’s okay not to be okay.
