Whatever, as long as it’s reciprocal

Share:

When we like someone, we want to hear, whenever possible, that we are loved, adored, liked. That, in something, we are unique and special.

There’s nothing more delightful than hearing, in a whisper or screaming in the street, that there is someone in this world who likes who we really are, even if we are this eternal lightning rod of confusion, this whirlwind of emotions; even if we look for that kiss recklessly looking to find a love for life.

Hearing that we are loved is always like listening to the chorus of our best song.

When we find out that someone, for some crazy reason in life, stopped liking us or being with us, we want to know, we want to hear the reason for this displeasure, eye to eye. What happened? Where did it go? It’s sad, but necessary.

It’s life, as always, with a slap in the face. Our heart needs to understand, needs to reorganize what we should feel from now on. Being aware that someone doesn’t love us anymore is always like listening to the cruelest melody of our, one day, best music.

So, whatever, but let it be two. May disagreements, loves and longings be felt and marked like a hot iron, but never stop being lived by both parties. That in the eternity of distance, we suffer together. That in the heat of closeness, our kiss has a mutual tenderness.

Just don’t let me feel alone what hurts me so much. Just don’t let me feel alone what makes me so good. May it be sad, crazy or heavenly, but reciprocated. May I know how to feel all the feelings on the menu, but please be reciprocal; either in the goodbye or in the marriage proposal.
