He could be very busy at work. He could be in a meeting. His phone could have run out of battery.

Remember, there are many, many reasons why he might not have replied to your messages, and a significant number of them have absolutely nothing to do with you.

Do not do anything.

Do not send messages again asking if they received your message. Do not call for an answer. And under no circumstances send any derivative of “Why aren’t you answering me? You do not like me anymore?”.

There is no better way to destroy a relationship than for a man to check his cell phone and find messages that are rude, needy, or insecure.

Remember your own worth.

When someone doesn’t respond, it’s easy to feel lost. The emotional temptation is to fight to get him back, as if he’s the prize, and we’re the winner who’s about to have it all lost.

Stop for a moment and remember this – even if he is losing interest.

When you think about all the value you bring to your life… the energy, the passion, the excitement you provide, suddenly the picture seems more balanced – and you will feel so much better.

Do whatever it takes to be happy and take your mind off of him. Take action on a goal. Go out with your friends. Spend time with your family.

Shift attention to yourself instead of focusing on a guy who, at the moment, doesn’t deserve it.
