The term “child with a disability” is the most appropriate, according to the PCD (people with disabilities) community, as it does not reduce the individual to his disability. At the same time, it also does not place him in the position of “special”, “warrior” and other ableist terms that romanticize his disability.

Features of the Montessori method

The pedagogy proposed by Maria Montessori seeks to free the child’s true nature, through autonomy and the appreciation of their individuality. Here are the main features of this method:
