That’s exactly what happened to a 24-year-old Canadian model named Catt Gallinger🇧🇷 fan of body art, she decided to make the so-called “eyeball tattoo”, which consists of injecting ink into the sclera, that white part of the eye. By itself, the procedure is risky and even inadvisable by the Brazilian Society of Ophthalmology, as there are high chances of causing internal inflammation, leading to vision loss.

On Facebook, in a now viral post, the girl shared very graphic images of how the idea didn’t work out and warned about the risks of this type of tattoo. “This was caused by the paint being poorly diluted and over-applied by the professional,” she said.

According to her, she quickly realized that something did not go as planned, as PURPLE TEARS were coming out of her eyeball, and she looked for a hospital where they prescribed antibiotics. The meds didn’t work very well and served to make the eye swollen. Now, on steroids, she says she is seeing improvements, but she is still at risk of losing her sight.

In an interview with the British newspaper The Sun, he revealed that he decided to get the tattoo to feel “more at home inside his own body”, but now he wants to make everyone aware of the risks of this type of procedure. Noted!
