Snoopy: how to decorate a 1 year old party with the character

Who has never heard of Snoopy? This little dog of the Beagle breed appeared in the 1950s, through the trait of the designer Charles Schulz. A character from the comic book “Peanuts”, he continues to conquer generations and emerges as a cute alternative for a party theme.

With a vintage touch, Snoopy is a good character alternative for baby showers and one year old parties, when the child is not yet participating in the choice. Because he is an old figure, Snoopy ends up pleasing his parents more than the little one – who usually prefers more current and commercial characters. Parents, on the other hand, have increasingly moved away from animation-inspired themes and are trying to rescue a glimpse of their own childhood in their children’s celebration.

Red, black and yellow are the colors commonly used for the theme, but it is possible to work with cards that also include shades of blue and green.

Once again, fondant appears as a powerful ally in decorating the table, transforming sweets and cake into replicas of characters.

The theme allows the composition of a decoration rich in colors and details. Make the most of elements that refer to comics, such as comic book pages, and history – the classic house, the grandfather (which is part of Snoopy’s imagery), and even the print on Charlie Brown’s shirt can be included in the party’s look.
