With its fruits you can prepare jam or jelly with a mild flavor. It is jam can be bought in supermarkets or, if you feel like it, you can prepare it at home:
Place the rosehips in a pan with water until they are covered. Stir with a wooden spoon until it forms a cream. Let it cool and then remove the small thorns that will remain in the cream. Measure the volume of the cream obtained and add half of the sugar. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly. When the candy becomes more consistent than liquid, it’s ready.
