“May God not allow me to lose ROMANTISM, even though I know that roses don’t talk. May I not lose OPTIMISM, even though I know that the future that awaits us is not so happy. May I not lose the will to LIVE, even though I know that life is, in many moments, painful.

May I not lose the desire to have great FRIENDS, even though I know that, with the world around them, they end up leaving our lives. May I not lose the will to HELP people, even though many of them are unable to see, recognize and reciprocate this help.

May I not lose BALANCE, even though I know that countless forces want me to fall. That I don’t lose the WILL to love, even though I know that the person I love the most may not feel the same feeling for me.
