On the big screen he portrayed the most strategic marksman of all time, James Bond, and the dashing lover of Meryl Streep, but Pierce Brosnan’s real-life romance is better than any movie. The actor and his lovely wife Keely Shaye Smith just celebrated 25 years together – and it’s obvious that the two remain completely in love.

Pierce, who has never shied away from sharing his feelings about Keely, posted a photo on Instagram of the couple looking into each other’s eyes with the caption, “Thank you for the love you’ve given me these past 25 years.”

Over the years, the couple has managed to keep the flame of love burning through a lot of companionship and quality time.

“My wife and I took a little trip to Santa Barbara (USA) – we were going for a romantic weekend, visit a couple of friends and have a good wine,” Pierce told People magazine: “During the trip we didn’t hear any music, we just heard the sounds of each other’s voices and that was all for us.”

The Irish actor said in an interview that the favorite thing about his wife is that “She has a look that I wouldn’t be able to live without. When Keely looks at me, I melt.”
