Nails decorated for Carnival

Carnival is the time to dare and exaggerate in gestures, dance and visuals. With the approach of one of the most consecrated parties in Brazil, some doubts arise, such as: What costume to wear? How to make makeup last longer? Leave your hair up or down? Among other questions of the feminine universe.

But what about your nails? Have you ever stopped to think what decoration to use for Carnival? Take advantage that this is a time of year when exaggeration is allowed. Therefore, the most discreet women who never had the courage to wear a decorated nail, this could be your opportunity.

We chose a decoration on the nails that, despite the sparkles, can still be used for formal events such as graduations and weddings.

To make this nail decoration you will need two different colors of nail polish. We chose Avon’s “Almost Forever” (average price R$2.80) for the only daughter foundation and Colorama’s “Ultravioleta” (average price R$2.80) for the rest of the nails.

In addition, you will also need a little pot with rhinestones in the color you want (average price R$12.00 one hundred units). A colorless foundation (average price R$3.00) and a nail stick to help with the decoration (average price R$0.50). These products can be found in cosmetics stores, pharmacies and supermarkets.

The first step is to apply two coats of Colorama’s “Ultraviolet” nail polish on all nails except the ring finger. Apply two coats of Avon’s “Almost Forever” nail polish to the only child. Clean the excesses well with cotton, toothpick and nail polish remover and wait to dry for about twenty minutes before moving on to the next step.

Once that’s done, just start the decoration on the only child. Use your hand or a piece of paper as a support base to deposit an amount of the colorless base. Then, with the help of the toothpick, take a drop of foundation and touch one rhinestone at a time. Once this is done, place the stones randomly on the entire surface of the ring finger.

The next step is to clean off excess nail polish and apply a layer of top coat to all nails except the ring finger. This is a very important step, because if the top coat is applied to the nail with rhinestones, you run the risk of leaving the shine of the stones matte.
