Mother accompanies her visually impaired son to an Iron Maiden concert and tells him everything

The complicity you can have with your mother is like nothing else. A mother is capable of doing anything to see her child happy, regardless of the circumstances. Roberto is a visually impaired rock lover. He asked his mother to accompany him to an Iron Maiden concert and she didn’t hesitate to share this moment with him. But, so that her son wouldn’t miss the smallest details of the event, she told him everything that happened on stage, something that, without a doubt, will be unforgettable for both of them.

Roberto and his mother shared with the awesome.club how was that experience. We congratulate the great gesture that this wonderful woman had. She and her son are a great example of unconditional love and show that the possibilities are endless when we are willing to live.

The show took place at the Palacio de los Deportes in Mexico City. Roberto lives in Toluca with his mother and asked them to travel to attend the event. When they arrived, they queued like any other fan. Not without, of course, arousing reactions of admiration and solidarity. Fer Barbosa, a fan of the band who attended the concert along with his father and sister, was moved by the great gesture of “Beto’s” mother.

During the show, Beto’s mother told him everything that happened on stage. However, this is not the first time they have had such an experience, as she has already taken her son to other shows before. “For me it is very important to accompany him on his adventures because it gives me more confidence that my son will be fine and it is very rewarding to share these moments with him. Roberto taught me to trust and to have fun,” she comments.

When the show ended, Fer returned to find Roberto and his mother at a T-shirt stand. She was explaining to her son what each piece looked like so that he could imagine them and choose which one to buy. Upon seeing the scene, Fer was extremely moved and wanted to help a little; so he started to explain to Beto what the models were like, something that was very difficult. “I couldn’t help but congratulate the mother. It was a gigantic demonstration of love”, commented the boy in a post on Facebook. Also, in an interview, Fer said that he was surprised because his mother, for example, would never watch such a show. He even had metal band T-shirts burned by his mother when he was young.

Iron Maiden Fans Mexico

Thanks to the publication in which Fer told the story of Beto and his mother, the case began to go viral on the network. Days after the show would be Roberto’s birthday and the Iron Maiden fan club in Mexico wanted to surprise him. To do this, he called on the page’s followers to join in the congratulations and record a video for the birthday boy. Some of the members of this fan club visited Beto and his mother to give them some gifts. So that everyone could be a witness, they performed a live broadcast and shared this experience with their followers. The birthday boy received an Iron Maiden T-shirt, mask, jacket and cup. They even wrote him a letter in braille.

And that wasn’t all! Her mother also received some treats in thanks for accompanying Beto to the show. “My mom means everything to me. I felt very happy to be with me in such a special moment”, assured Roberto.

Iron Maiden is his favorite band and, even though he lost his sight in 2003, he invites everyone to fight for a better and happier life.

He doesn’t stop and continues to conquer his goals. He is currently doing a Masters in Science and his biggest dream is to belong to the ‘National System of Investigators’ (SNI) and work as a teacher. He would also like to see other shows, especially by bands like Judas Priest, AC/DC and Slayer. Without a doubt, this is a moving story that can inspire many people in the world, as it demonstrated that a mother’s love is infinite and made it clear that small actions can make a big difference in someone’s life.
