Once upon a time there was an ‘eternal’ love story that lasted a short time, once upon a time a ‘forever’ that ended quickly, once upon a time an ‘I love you’ totally empty of feeling. Today, there is no shortage of promises that are made and are not kept. Today there is no shortage of things said without being felt and things felt without being said. We live surrounded by too many lies together and we are tired of that, tired of being deceived with false promises of true love when they are nothing more than mere occasional interests, tired of deceiving ourselves because we believe in the unfortunate illusion that it is this time that will be special.

We believe again and again, because we believe that what we feel is reciprocal, we give ourselves in headlong but making little use of it, largely because of the blindness caused by passion that, in addition to not allowing us to see straight, also makes it impossible for us to sometimes we make the best decisions. It’s what gives listening to the heart more than reason, it’s what gives blindly trusting someone’s words, sometimes we can’t even do it, we have to distrust in a way, to protect ourselves from future disappointments, I would even say that the It would be better if we let the other person prove the veracity of what he says every day, give someone the daily mission to fall in love with us every dawn as if it were the first time, because otherwise it’s not worth it…

Love is not made of promises but of attitudes, love is not fleeting, love does not hurt us, however, there are many people who use this word without knowing its real meaning, trivializing it to an extreme point, in leading us to believe that it is a palpable reality, but at the end of the day, when we realize it, we realize that we were living in a huge hoax and… There is nothing more painful than that!

It is essential to think, no one should say things in vain, it is necessary to think about the other person and how much they will suffer when they come to their senses and realize that it was all a brave mistake. “Don’t do to others what you don’t like to be done to you”!
