Learn prayers to get a new job

Earlier this year, I wrote a Feng Shui article with tips for getting a new job. I remember very well that many people got in touch later thanking them for the tips and saying that they were more motivated to look for a new position.

Anyone who has lost a job and has been out of work for a long time, with savings running out, bills to pay and needing food to put at home, knows the weight of a “no” when trying to get a possible replacement. The weight of several “no’s” begins to turn into despair, as time passes and, with it, the hope of finding work and money diminishes.

In these moments, it is worth relying on faith to have more hope and to thank God for the strength to seek the new job. For those of you who have faith, I’ve selected two Prayers for getting a new job.

Say these prayers when you leave your home looking for a new job and when you are inside a company for an interview or a selection process.

1) Prayer to get a job

“Jesus, open a door for me! Lord, answer this cry that springs from the most intimate of my heart: open a door for me! Only You know and know, Jesus, the moment of difficulty for which I (say your name) and all my family are going through unemployment. You know too, Lord, with how much hope I approach You to ask You to go ahead of me, opening a door and preparing a job, so that I can, through a job worthy, to give my family ‘daily bread’. For You, O my God, are my hope.” (SI 70-5)

I also ask that you grant me all the courage, confidence, fearlessness and strength, to leave my house in search of a job, in the certainty that Your hands, extended in my favor, will knock on this door before me, preparing my entry into a job. secure your will.

Trusting entirely in Your Word, which says “Knock and it will be opened to you, to the one who knocks it will be opened” (Lk 11-9), I thank you with all my heart, because I believe that “with God nothing is impossible “. (Luke 1-37)

2) Prayer of Saint Joseph the Worker

Oh! My dear Saint Joseph, Holy Worker, who in life you did the will of God through work, supporting the mouth of your son Jesus with honest bread, open the doors of commerce and industries so that I can get a job.

Give me strength and courage not to give up at the first “no”, and that every “no” I hear feed my faith to seek a “yes”.

May I have the disposition of Saint Teresa of Avila, the humility of Saint Francis of Assisi, the strength and perseverance of Saint Anthony.

It guides the lords of power so that the distribution of our country’s goods is fairer, giving everyone enough work and wealth.

Protect our families so that they do not let themselves be overcome by drought, fear, violence, lack of work and give us renewed hope every Resurrection Sunday.

My Saint Joseph, patron saint of workers, do not leave me without my daily bread and without the prospect of work to honestly support my family.

I promise, with the money from the salary paid from my future job, to help those in need and to spread my devotion to you.
