Learn lessons from Saint Francis of Assisi to calm the mind

“One of the biographies I like the most is that of Saint Francis of Assisi. He was an example in every way and, mainly, for his humility and love for others, animals and nature. In October, let’s draw inspiration from his lessons.

For a moment, we need to forget who harms us or takes us out of seriousness. Let’s be inspired by the teachings of Il Poverello (The Poor Man), sent by Christ to Assisi, Italy, to teach man new paths.

In this new path, there are teachings that could not be understood by Jesus’ contemporaries – such as cruelty-free food and unconditional love for all creatures. So let’s open our hearts to a purer, more humanitarian and less barbaric conscience. It’s time to respect all forms of life and bring light to the ends of this world.

San Francisco once told a friend – tormented by internal conflicts – that he should elevate your thoughts and pray the Our Father seven times. Prayer, taught by Jesus, is a cry to God to protect, forgive and help us. And so that he installs his kingdom of love on Earth!

Whenever you need it, follow the advice of Il Poverello and say the prayer to raise your vibration and calm the mind🇧🇷 And of course: change your clothes or habit as many times as necessary to rediscover, within your chest, the divine spark that leads us towards good. Peace, light and conscience!”
