Understanding Psalm 119
Psalm 119 is an extension of Psalm 19:7-9, where it says that “the law of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul; the testimony of the Lord is sure, it gives wisdom to the simple.
The precepts of the Lord are right and gladden the heart, the commandment of the Lord is pure and enlightens the eyes. The fear of the Lord is clean, and endures forever; the judgments of the Lord are true and righteous together.”
